Lenten Song for Practice - Jesus Thank You 2 Years, 3 Months ago
Karma: 2
Lenten Season is right in the corner. It's the time of the year when we especially reflect and repent our sins.
In line with the season of Lent, we also have to change the theme of our music suitable for the season. Thus, I have the leverage to choose some songs I think we should incorporate in our repertoire.
The following songs will be included in our next Choir Practice. Please listen the songs in advance.

Lyrics
Jesus, thank you for the cross
Jesus, thank you for the cross
Holding nothing back, you did all your father asked
I'll never know just how it felt
As you died, lifted high
I know It hurt I know the pain
Was more than words could ever say
You had a choice, you chose to die
Your sacrifice has saved my life
What can I say?
Oh Jesus, you gave your life for me
So precious the blood you shed
You made a way to heaven by dying in my place
Jesus, thank you for the cross

We Fall Down Lyrics
Artist(Band):Chris Tomlin
We fall down
and lay our crowns
At the feet of Jesus
The greatness of
Your Mercy and love
At the feet of Jesus
And we cry holy, holy, holy
And we cry holy, holy, holy
And we cry holy, holy, holy
Is the lamb
We fall down
and lay our crowns
At the feet of Jesus
The greatness of
Mercy and love
At the feet of Jesus
And we cry holy, holy, holy
And we cry holy, holy, holy
And we cry holy, holy, holy
Is the lamb
And we cry holy, holy, holy
And we cry holy, holy, holy
And we cry holy, holy, holy
Is the lamb

Lyrics - At The Foot Of The Cross[/b]
Verse 1:
At the foot of the cross
Where grace and suffering meet
You have shown me Your love
Through the judgment You received
And You've won my heart
And You've won my heart
Now I can
Chorus:
Trade these ashes in for beauty
And wear forgiveness like a crown
Coming to kiss the feet of mercy
I lay every burden down
At the foot of the cross
Verse 2:
At the foot of the cross
Where I am made complete
You have given me life
Through the death you bore for me
And You've won my heart
And You've won my heart
Now I can
(Repeat Chorus twice, then instrumental)
Bridge:
And You've won my heart
And You've won my heart
Now I can
(Repeat twice Chorus)
I lay every burden down
I lay every burden down
At the foot of the cross
At the foot of the cross
At the foot of the cross

On My Cross
How wide is Your love
That You would stretch Your arms
And go around the world
And why for me would a Savior's cry be heard
I don't know
Why You went where I was meant to go
I don't know
Why You love me so
Those were my nails
That was my crown
That pierced Your hands and Your brow
Those were my thorns
Those were my scorns
Those were my tears that fell down
And just as You said it would be
You did it all for me
And after You counted the cost
You took my shame, my blame
On my cross
How deep is Your grace
That you could see my need
And chose to take my place
And then for me, these words I'd hear You say
Father no
Forgive them for they know not what they do
I will go
Because I love them so
Those were my nails
that was my crown
that peirced your hands
and your brow
those were my thorns
those were my scorns
those were my tears that fell down
and just as you said it would be
you did it all for me
and after you counted the cost
you took my shame, my blame
on my cross
those were my nails
that was my crown
that peirced your hands
and your brow
those were my thorns
those were my scorns
those were my tears that feel down
and just as u said it would be
u did it all for me
and after u counted the cost
you took my shame
my blame on my cross
after u counted the cost
u took my shame, my blame
on my cross
