Announcement from Philippine Embassy Jan 2009 PDF Print E-mail

A N N O U N C E M E N T

Due to the surge of applications at the Consular Section after the holidays, the Embassy wishes to announce that it shall be implementing a numbering system to facilitate the application process, especially during Sundays, Mondays, and after holidays. The system is on a first-come, first-served basis and will also consider the maximum number of applications that the Consular Section can serve for that day.

The Embassy highly encourages applicants to file their transactions during weekdays because of the large volume of applications received on Sundays. The public is reminded that only the applicants are allowed to enter the premises and transact at the Consular Section.

The Embassy also reminds the public that the following applications may be filed
by mail without need for personal appearance at the Embassy:
1. Report of Marriage
2. Report of Divorce
3. Passport Amendments
4. Appointment for Personal Appearance for the Machine Readable Passport
