It must be known that one of the basic understanding of our human existence is the fact that we grow in a conscious endeavor. This growth is referred to as our individual progress towards the pursuit of our dreams.
Each one of us has our own dream. Immediately after my graduation in college, I can recall, I worked and planned my day in accordance with my ambition in life. It was full of apprehensions, coupled with the fact that graduating college pens a new chapter in my life. The road ahead is paved with even greater challenges and complications, I was, to say the least, at the proverbial crossroad of thoughts, where you must choose the right road to take, as to work in the Philippines or to work abroad. What this would be- the most greener pasture, the most favorable, the most convenient, the most affordable, the most secure, possible for me to move forward to higher experience to equip me for the future and for my career.
During that time then, I felt uncertain about my first thoughts as to where shall I go. Now that the Filipino nation has been faced with the problem of poverty, moral degeneration, economic and social ills, the younger generation to be open to new possibilities and new learnings in order not to be square pegs in round holes, so as not to add insult to injury where millions of unemployed college graduates abound the country! Thus, there were glaring questions which kept on haunting me, like...." How can I work abroad?" "How long would it take?" " Do I have the ability and financial resources?" "To what country shall I go to work and what course of action shall I take?" It took me quite some time before I finally made up my mind.

Due to the surge of applications at the Consular Section after the holidays, the Embassy wishes to announce that it shall be implementing a numbering system to facilitate the application process, especially during Sundays, Mondays, and after holidays. The system is on a first-come, first-served basis and will also consider the maximum number of applications that the Consular Section can serve for that day.
The Embassy highly encourages applicants to file their transactions during weekdays because of the large volume of applications received on Sundays. The public is reminded that only the applicants are allowed to enter the premises and transact at the Consular Section.
